April 16, 2003Bumpy BuckEver since elementary school, I've always found this upper-right hand corner of the front of the dollar bill the most insteresting. Why is that? Well look up at the decorative shield-looking thing that surrounds the 1. In the dip of the upper-left hand corner of that shield, is what looks like a little spider. Look closely. You may not be able to see it very well in this picture...but pull out your own dollar and you'll see what I mean. All I can think is that some artist at the treasury must have had a sense of humor. And to think, all these years we've been using buggy money. -Tony (Eravau) Camera: Nikon CoolPix 4500 Location: My office in Dallas, Texas Notes: I did a little bit of Photoshop work on this image to give it the texture and raised look it has. I also added the gold-tinted lighting. It was actually taken under flourescent office lights. |
