April 26, 2003Hot Stuff It was the strangest thing today. I was downtown walking to Starbucks after eating lunch and I passed a pepper sitting there on the sidewalk. Since it was so bright, it really caught my attention. And I thought, "That's strange to leave a pepper sitting in the middle of the sidewalk." Imagine my surprise when about two minutes further along the walk I saw another one. Again, the bright, vivid color caught my eye. I figured they must really be trying to get my attention if they were just going to be everywhere. So I picked this one up and took it back to the office with me. It was a very good subject. It laid and sat in various strange poses with nary a complaint or questioning glance.
