June 01, 2003Sunset CityI grew up way out in a suburb of Indianapolis. By way out I mean that there were corn and soy bean fields on three sides of our small neighborhood. We even went and played in the woods that were between the field behind our house and the next one. For all practical purposes, I guess I grew up in the country...or close enough to it to feel part of it. But I've been living here in Dallas for the past nine years...and it just doesn't feel the same. Sunsets, which are beautiful with a horizon of trees, hills and water...just don't seem the same with the hard borders of steel and brick. It's still pretty, but not quite the same. -Tony (Eravau) Camera: Nikon CoolPix 4500 Location: The Apartment Building where I Live in Dallas, Texas USA Posted by eravau at June 1, 2003 12:01 AM |
