June 14, 2003Roll 'Em Out When I was younger (I mean really younger...like 10 and under), I spent quite a bit of time on something like this. Roller skates were one of the biggest parts of our self-entertainment as kids. We'd strap them on and roll back and forth in the same little space in the basement as fast as we could for hours on end. The skates were plainer...with black or white leather and shiny steel wheels...no bright colors and softer rubber cushioned wheels. Now my daughter plays in her skates.
