July 12, 2003This Must Be The Nut House Every time I see or eat peanuts I'm reminded of an earlier time in my life when I saw way more than my fair share of nuts. (Not that I'm not in the presence of plenty of nuts on a daily basis now...just a different kind of nuts.) But for two summers while I was in college I worked in a candy and snack food factory. Let me tell you, you haven't lived 'til you've been surrounded by several 500 pound bins of peanuts. When I say I saw tons of peanuts (and other nuts) a day...I'm not exaggerating. It's a miracle I still like 'em.
