October 15, 2003Leaf It To Me This tree was still hanging on to some of its color. The trees in my yard seem to have suddenly just decided to skip the colors and turn from green to brown. We have a couple of fir trees that decided to shed their fur...leaving a carpet of brown needles everywhere. Like animals and their fur...these trees shed their fur. The difference is...animals shed their fur when it gets hot...trees shed their fur when it gets cold.
